Soto Sake
It is brewed in the Niigata Prefecture, recognized by many as the true heart of sake innovation and production in Japan. SOTO Sake is created using naturally superior ingredients from Niigata: locally sourced, premium rice and pure, soft water, originating from the Niigata Mountains.
Soto Sake recently competed in the Business News Japan Awards 2021 and was awarded TWO GOLD Medal Award in this renowned competition:
The SOTO Junmai is also from Niigata, using Gohyakumangoku rice, polished
to 65% its original size. It’s a clean sake that’s light on the palate, producing nuances of apple, soft rice, with a touch of umami. On the nose – clean, fresh aromatics, apple, nougat.
The Junmai Daiginjo is amazing with salads, sashimi, light food, and also pizza.
The Junmai pairs so nicely with sushi, ramen, and other Japanese staples, while it’s fun to try alongside Mediterranean foods, especially in the can.
With SOTO, Soto sake goal is to bring sake to new consumers and recruit people to this amazing category so we recommend having fun and trying SOTO’s Junmai Daiginjo and Junmai with all types of food.
