Anna Spinato Winery : The heritage of tradition, the Strength of Innovation

Anna Spinato Winery - Business News Japan

It was in 1952 when Pietro Spinato understood the enological potential of this magnificent land lapped by the waters of the Piave river and gave life to the wines that today bear my name: Anna Spinato. The story begins there, alongside of Anna’s father, captivated by the ancient charm of old ways of working the land and the country fairs, by the magic of turning fruit into wine, and then racing over Venice to deliver it in the “Bacari” wine bars. Happy times that fueled Anna’s passion for her people, work and for her customers that today spread all over the world.

Now the era of dashing to Venice is over, but the farm work remains the same; maintaining the rites and the of working the land while at the sime time nurturing the winemaking process, year after year. But the best, perhaps, is yet to come, because life goes on and the story repeats itself.

Today, Roberto the son of Anna Spinato helps to create exclusive packaging, providing support in the art of dominating modern technologies and giving her mother the energy to continue to face the challenge of reaching markets worldwide.

The passion for the land and good wine has passed through generations and today, Anna Spinato, together with her son Roberto, is at the helm of the winery and creates Doc and Docg wines typical of the territory, such as ValdobbiadeneProseccoRaboso and Malanotte: excellent local wines alongside wines from international vines capable of meeting the taste and the needs of worldwide markets.

Anna Spinato Winery is lucky to live in a marvellous land that deserves love and respect, thanks to the delicate, natural equilibrium that supports it. Knowledge and love have always guided the company in the search for the best combinations of soilsmicroclimates and winemaking systems to obtain wines capable of enhancing the aromas of our vines and the unmistakable “flavor” of this land. Anna and her son Roberto decided to create wines typical of this region, such as ValdobbiadeneProseccoRaboso and Malanotte, alongside wines from international vines capable of expressing and enhancing the unique and distinct characteristics of our land. A shrewd choice revealing not only the love of traditions, but also the desire to open to new possibilities in the world – a philosophy that should inform our way of thinking and our wines.
