Interview of Mr. Ignacio Fernandez – International Manager
Question 1: Do you already export to JAPAN ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in JAPAN ?
No we don’t import to Japan, however this next June 3 we will be in Tokyo with “World’s Leading Wines” to look for importers and distributors who are looking not only for a gourmet product but also for a wine unique character.
Question 2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors ?
Our vineyards are surrounded by a kiwi plantation, a good amount of flowers and flower trees; thanks to that, our wine have a unique taste. Also we wait till the right moment to harvest, so during the vilification process we don’t add sugar or any additives, getting the wine in the most natural way possible.
Question 3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?
From the beginning our focus was on the foreign market, the supply of wine in Spain its huge and the market is kind of saturated, however we are happy to say that we are in some of top restaurants in Spain despite of the high competition. Our plan in the future it’s to develop new brands, and put more emphasis on the Asian market.
